synopsis

BBC drama exploring the ethical issues and scientific benefits of research into cloning. Leading scientist Dr Edward Marsh is an expert in the field of cloning. He is angry that the public reaction to his work is tainted by misinformation from the media, who seem to focus only on images of cloned babies and Dolly the sheep. Reluctantly he agrees to help a young writer, Sarah Jones, who has been commissioned by his Medical School, to write a play to help the public's understanding of the subject.
