synopsis

Banoo is the story of a young woman named Miriam who seeks more meaning in her life. Miriam accidentally finds out that her husband has taken another wife and the shock produces a profound spiritual transformation. When an old garden near her house is destroyed, the gardener and his pregnant wife take refuge with Miriam and are soon followed by other troubled characters. Through dealing with the concerns of others, Miriam is able to find her place in the world.
