Babymother (R)

synopsis

Anita is a babymother -- a single mother in a black neighborhood of London who wants to be a dancehall diva. Her babyfather Byron is a local reggae star, but isn't helping much, along with the rest of the men in the dancehall scene. So she gets together with girlfriends Sharon and Yvette to form a girl group. Her personal life gets confusing though when her mother dies and her sister reveals that she is, in fact, her real mother.
