synopsis

It tells the story of a young boy, Saeid, whose release from a reformatory after being jailed for petty crimes is thrown into question when a tragic event occurs. With great skill, Mahkam examines the complex nature of the social relationships and psychological motivations of those who are caught up in the boy's fate. This is a film which looks at themes of family, justice, and love with deep understanding and in an affecting and engaging manner.
