synopsis

Quiet pawnbroker Clemente is Sofia's hope to avoid a future of loneliness. As his neighbor and a single woman, Sofia spends her days as an October's Lord of the Miracle's worshipper. One day, Clemente is left with a newborn baby who appears to be the result of a relationship with a prostitute. While Clemente searches for the baby's mother, Sofia enjoys taking care of the baby and getting to know her maternal instincts. With the arrival of this duo into his life, Clemente ponders these emotional entanglements that he has never before experienced.
