synopsis

An only child raised by a tough-talking single mother, 15-year-old Riley has always stood out. A math genius fascinated by the universe, Riley has developed a groundbreaking new way to accurately predict the frequency of dangerous solar flares. Soon he discovers that a huge solar storm is hours away from frying the earth's power grid. With the help of his professor, the no-nonsense Dr. Clark, he sets out on a race against time to convince the world to prepare for the worst before it's too late.
