Bilut

synopsis

In the 1960's, settlers who arrived in Bilut faced hardships and tribulations, both from natural disasters and the society which emerged there. Yazid and his wife, Aishah, go through hardship and loss when they lose their children: Yamin in a tiger attack; Munah to pregnancy; and when Yusof moves to Brussels to study. Yusof finds himself surrounded by the wonders and promises of the outside world, but soon comes to a crossroad when he realizes the realities of his life back home.
