synopsis

After becoming sick, Josephine was forced to leave her young son behind in Haiti while she was treated in the United States. Once better, she was hired as a housekeeper by her doctor John, and his wife Christine, a maniacal and narcissistic woman, who couldn't care less about Josephine's son. A sickening class divide and an unrelenting love for her son, forces Josephine to seek guidance in a mystifying Voodoo Priest, who will alter their lives forever.
