Group (NR)

synopsis

A story, which focuses on nine women who meet every Wednesday afternoon for 21 weeks of group therapy. This circle includes a one-legged plus-sized punk, a born-again Christian, a control freak, a sex-rocker, an unapologetic tramp, a harsh-tongued bigot, an intoxicating binger, an enigmatic mystery woman and their therapist. In this microcosm of life wrought with prejudice, pettiness and trauma, there is a glimmer of compassion that transcends all else and helps each woman find peace with herself.
