Nishana

synopsis

Nishana is an action comedy about two unemployed young men who hail from different villages in India. Disillusioned with life they head towards a railway track wanting to commit suicide but end up becoming friends. When the police find out about their actions, they are arrested and held in custody. The friends find out that they are going to be implicated in some unsolved crimes that they had no hand in. Both decide to escape police custody and end up in a remote village at the Pakistan border. Living in the village they realise they have two choices in life either be hunted down and die like a dog or do something for their country and become a martyr.
