Simmarasi (Simma Rasi)

synopsis

A man named Manickavasagam happens to start a campaign against caste system, thus acquiring much respect from the villagers. Further, the villagers ask him to remain and resolve their other conflicts which provokes the biggest goon in the village, Maragatham, who killed his own brother for marrying into a different caste. Manickvasagam`s son wants to start a factory in the village from his father`s consent, but he won`t allow for some reason. This leads him to ally with Maragatham.
