synopsis

Josh is an aspiring novelist who supports himself through temp work. When a firm offers him a permanent job, he panics, torn by ambivalence about the creatively crippling nature of corporate culture. His panic paralyses him to the point that he forgets to mail an important stack of letters. As days go by, Josh starts inventing elaborate reasons for his failure of duty and imagining ways out of his predicament.
