Street Kid

synopsis

It is the story of how a back street kid helped a rich kid to win a national spelling competition in Nigerian indigenous languages. Afolabi suffered maltreatment from his step mother Rasikatu and was forced to stop school in order to sell water by the road side for Rasikatu to aid her business.

Adewemimo on the other hand was a smart, intelligent, brilliant and above all born with a silver spoon. He attends choice school and he represents his school in inter-school quiz, debate and spelling competitions.
