The Dark Cinema

synopsis

Four filmmaker friends rent an old cinema in the outskirts of a rural town for their travelling film festival, unaware of the dark history of the once grand but now long decommissioned place. When a downpour cuts the power in the cinema as well as all lines of communication, the friends are stuck in the place along with a foreign Indian NGO worker who is sensitive to paranormal occurrences. Strange things begin to happen after one of them accidentally smears the blood from his wound on a tablet laced with curses. Now they have to rely on each other to find a way to escape the cursed cinema.
