synopsis

After earning the admiration of the Chief Minister Vishwasrao chowdhary (Raza Murad), Amar Damjee (Aamir Khan) is handed the task of handling an operation aimed at taking down a multi-crore rupee international scandal down. An honest police officer, he is faced with the worst troubles on his case. He is framed in the murder case of the daughter of the Police Commissioner Mazumdar (Kulbhushan Kharbanda), Anjali. He esacapes from jail and goes on to prove his innocence and to get to the root of his operation and Anjali`s murder. Only, he is in for a very big surprise!
