synopsis

Years later, Barbara received a shocking phone call from her home country. She was told that her sister committed suicide, leaving her young daughter Karen motherless. Barbara returned to the Philippines to grieve the loss of her sister and help care for her niece Karen. She soon discovered the motivation for her sisters suicide. Apparently, although she lived with her husband Nick for years, and even had a child with him, she was convinced that Nick never really loved her. She began to believe not only that he still loved Barbara, but that he was traveling to the United States to have an affair with her. Although she died, the rage she felt toward her sister lives on. The evil in Ruth has stayed on to haunt those who have remained behind. Barbara must do all she can to bring comfort to the life of her emotionally scarred niece and protect them both from the evil spirit of Ruth.
