synopsis

Praveen Narayanan's directorial debut Ankarajyathe Jimmanmar is a comedy-drama about a talented dramatist Prakashan (Rony David Raj) who aspires to become a filmmaker. Prakashan's friends urge him to try film making and to get in touch with his friend Kichu (Roopesh Peethambaran), who had left the village years ago to earn a name for him in film industry. Winning the trust of his initially disapproving wife Damayanthi (Vinitha Koshy), he leaves for Kochi city in search of Kichu and his fortunes. There he meets Kichu and his friends Jimman and Roshan. But what Kichu does there and his lifestyle come as a surprise to Prakashan, who has no choice but blend in with the situation for the larger aim.
