synopsis

Set a decade ago during the last ethnic conflict in Srilanka, Yazh highlights the struggles of Tamilians in Sri Lanka, who belong to the Yazh culture, and what happens to them during the beginning stages of the war, with three stories interweaving and being narrated in real time in a non-linear story.
