Chronically Metropolitan

synopsis

Promising author Fenton (Shiloh Fernandez) ruffled feathers and lost the love of Jessie (Ashley Benson) when he published a thinly-veiled story about her family in The New Yorker. As Christopher (Chris Noth), Fenton's father and literary role model, can attest, there's no such thing as fiction. Returning to New York after a year in exile, Fenton is determined to win back his ex... but she's engaged to someone else. Christopher, meanwhile, is embroiled in his own affairs of the heart, threatening his relationship with his long-suffering wife, Annabel (Mary-Louise Parker). Chronically Metropolitan is a sardonic romantic comedy about love and letting go.
