This documentary reveals the story of The London Irish Women's Centre, a radical organisation founded in the early 80's to support generations of Irish women in London. Made entirely by women, Breaking Ground intercuts unique archive material with 18 interviews with women involved in the organisation over it's 29 year history. This documentary offers an authentic and alternative take on the history of London.
