synopsis

Sylvia learns her six-year-old daughter Clarinha has been taken by an unknown woman. Reeling from the shock, she waits with her husband, Bernardo, at the police station, where they are both questioned. Bernardo confesses that he might know the responsible party for the kidnapping: his lover, Rosa. When Rosa contacts him to arrange a rendezvous, Bernardo agrees to meet her with the hope she will arrive with Clarinha in hand.
