synopsis

Awkward teen Florian is more content dressing up with his mother Monika and dancing to disco music in his room than to interacting with his peers. His overbearing father Hanno is a competitive diving coach with his own notions of masculinity. The tension between father and son nears the breaking point when Monika suffers a stroke, and Florian and Hanno must learn to mend their relationship to keep the family together.
