'Dil To Pagal Hai' is a emotionally-charged and ebullient romance that also delves into concepts such as fate, destiny, choice and control. It soulfully portrays the influence of feelings and emotions on our behaviours and actions. It is the story of Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) who does not believe in love. He fails to understand how two people can spend their entire lives together. He is a choreographer who owns a dance troupe and expends all his creative energies on composing new routines. An integral part of his troupe and his life is Nisha (Karisma Kapoor) who believes that love is friendship and that one day Rahul will realise her silent love for him and reciprocate it.
