Matsuo Ohno is the man who produced the sound design for ‘Tetsuwan Atomu', Japan's first television anime created by Osamu Tezuka in 1963. Better known as ‘Astro Boy' in the United States, the show was the forefront pioneer of Japanimation in America and became a huge hit worldwide. These days he is primarily working at an institution for the mentally handicapped in Shiga Prefecture.
