James Dean walks down Broadway, his shoulders hunched against the drizzle. This iconic black and white photograph is the work of Dennis Stock (1928 – 2010), one of the most influential chroniclers of the late 20th century. More than a biographic documentary, this film brings us into Dennis Stock's photography workshop shortly before his death while also delving into the meaning of photography, life and art.
