synopsis
The Nigerian Connection explores the web of organised crime, prostitution and human trafficking stretching from West Africa to Europe. It exposes the work of the mafia-style gangs operating in towns and villages across Nigeria who exploit men, women, and children for their criminal activities from drugs to sex slavery. In Italy the Nigerian gangs come into direct conflict with the traditional Italian mob members but their influence has nonetheless spread across Europe. The Nigerian Connection investigates the plight of the men and women caught up in this web of crime, exploitation and violence and asksimportant question of how its spread can be stopped. How can two continents unite to save lives?
